The event was created to educate and empower the community to access crucial information and resources to truly heal the body, optimize health and experience the vibrant wellness everyone deserves.
Lisa Johnson and Todd Johnson of Energies Balanced yoga studio, in Austin, invite participants to enjoy a weekend of yoga and tranquility May 1 through 3 at The Davis Ranch, located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country about 60 miles from Austin.
Multiple, one-hour, all-level yoga classes from several traditions will be taught at the Yoga Nature Retreat, including hatha, kundalini, pranayama, yoga nidra, qigong and camping. In addition, there will be several guided meditations, including a walking meditation in which participants can resonate with the beauty and peace of the Hill Country in a new and insightful way. Attendees can participate in any of the events they wish, or just relax and enjoy the rolling Hill Country.
The 2015 Hilde Girls & Drumsistas Benefit Concert, Seeding Our Wild, will begin at 7 p.m., April 18 at Unity Church of the Hills. This year, the concert will benefit the Westcave Outdoor Discovery Center, a local nonprofit organization whose mission is to connect children and their families with nature through their Children in Nature Collaborative.
