Liquid Floats, the first float spa to hit North Austin, will hold its grand opening on August 1. Commonly referred to as sensory deprivation therapy, floating is a relaxing and rejuvenating experience in which users float in warm salt water in a float tank. Liquid Floats also plans to team up with local businesses to offer organic snacks, natural mood-enhancing supplements, fresh squeezed juices, teas and essential oils—all to optimize the floating experience. Because floating can spark creativity, they are also working with local artists to feature their works in Liquid’s spacious lobby.
