Awesmic City Cultivates Cosmic Cultures with Creativity

By September 30, 2016Local

The Awesmic City Expo will return for a third year, bringing local businesses, nonprofits and representatives of arts, science, education, holistic health, economic justice and environmental restoration together for a weekend of engaging discussion and activities. Taking place October 15 and 16 at the Palmer Events Center under the theme Cultivating Cosmic Cultures, the expo will provide attendees with an opportunity to partake in discourse that gives solutions to some of our planetary challenges concerning the environment.

Talks will focus on demonstrating how creativity is a major player in peace building through the arts and sciences, observing humans’ connection with the universe and how, as earth stewards, we contribute to the well-being of the universe by co-creating a vibrant energy field past this solar system. Hollywood producer and director Alan Ames will give the keynote address, Observation of The Overview Effect. Exhibitors include businesses and nonprofits in holistic and physical wellness; metaphysical practitioners such as intuitive body workers, energy and crystal healers; and entertaining music, dance, poetry and performing arts.

Expo organizers encourage Austinites to come and “play in a hall of cosmic cultural creative activities and engage people to come alive through out-of-the-box arts, innovative sciences, educational tools, performance arts and holistic outreach for the body, mind and spirit.”
