This fall, Energies Balanced Yoga Studio returns to the Hill Country to host another magical weekend of yoga, meditation, music and friendship. The retreat will again take place November 6 through 8 at the picturesque Davis Ranch, in Waelder.
Multiple yoga classes for all levels will be offered, including hatha, Iyengar and kundalini. Participants can test their balance at slacklining (walking across a bouncy, high-tension piece of webbing a few inches off the ground), enjoy complimentary catered meals and beverages, relax at poolside while listening to live sitar, meditate and commune with nature. Attendees can join in bonfire circle drumming and dancing and are encouraged to bring their own drums and instruments to make music under the stars.
All classes, events and catering are including with price of admission, and additional services such as massage, hot stone treatment, trigger point therapy, essential oil treatment and astrological readings will be available for an additional fee.
There will be a raffle and a silent auction for a variety of goods and services from local vendors. All meals will be catered by Sagra, a family-owned Italian restaurant that sources local ingredients whenever possible and makes everything inhouse. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options will be available. Other vendors such as Bearded Brothers, Luna Bar, and Kind bar have generously donated other snacks and beverages.
The Davis Ranch is located on 40 quiet acres within an hour drive from Austin. There is ample room for camping with access to modern facilities (including showers), a swimming pool, tree house, hiking trails throughout the property and a herd of friendly longhorns.
