This spring, Energies Balanced yoga studio returns to the Hill Country to host its annual weekend retreat of yoga, meditation, music and friendship May 13 through 15, at the beautiful 40-acre Davis Ranch Retreat, in Waelder.
Multiple all-level yoga classes will be offered, including hatha, iyengar and kundalini. Participants can test their balance at slacklining, enjoy complimentary catered meals by Sagra; relax poolside while listening to live sitar music; meditate and commune with nature; and join in bonfire circle drumming and dancing. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own drums and instruments for a musical jam under the stars. All classes, events and catering are including with price of admission; additional services such as massage, hot stone treatment, trigger point therapy, essential oil treatment and tarot readings will be available for a small additional fee.
Host Lisa Johnson says this year’s raffle prize will be a one-night stay in the ranch’s tree house—a $300 value. Raffle tickets can be purchased in advance for $10. There will also be a silent auction for goods and services from local vendors. Davis Ranch also has ample room for camping with access to facilities, a swimming pool, a tree house, hiking throughout the property and a herd of friendly longhorns.
Lisa and Todd Johnson have been operating Energies Balanced, in East Austin, for over 10 years and are committed to enriching the lives of others by teaching high-quality self-care practices.
Cost: Earlybird price $175 for the entire weekend, including reserved camping space; prices will increase after April 30. Location: 1110 Peach Creek Rd., Waelder. For more information, email Lisa@EnergiesBalanced.com or visit EnergiesBalanced.com.
